PROJECT SUMMARY
Health Horisons is an Erasmus+ funded project under the KA220 – Cooperation Partnerships framework. The project aims to empower Roma communities by improving health literacy, enhancing access to healthcare services, and promoting social inclusion through education and digital innovation.
A key focus of the project is the development of accessible, culturally adapted learning materials and a user-friendly e-learning platform tailored to the needs of Roma adults. Through a combination of research, community engagement, and capacity-building activities, Health Horisons seeks to address existing barriers in healthcare access and support Roma individuals in making informed health decisions.
The project brings together partners from North Macedonia, Greece, and Cyprus, working collaboratively to identify good practices, deliver training activities, and strengthen the connection between Roma communities, healthcare providers, and policymakers.

PARTNER’S ROLES
Roma Resource Center
A non-governmental organization supporting vulnerable and marginalized groups, with a strong focus on Roma communities. In the project, RRC acts as the coordinator, ensuring smooth implementation and direct engagement with Roma communities.
ITML
A technology company specialized in developing digital solutions and platforms. In the project, ITML is responsible for the development of the website and the e-learning platform, as well as providing technical support for digital tools.
EU Knowledge Spot
An organisation active in education, research, and European project development. In the project, it contributes to research activities, analysis of good practices, and the development of training and educational materials.

Agrodiatrofiki Simpraksi Periferias Stereas Elladas
Agrodiatrofiki Simpraksi Periferias Stereas Elladas is a Greek non-profit organization working to promote locally produced agrifood products. It aims to bridge the gap between producers and consumers and create synergies among the agrifood, tourism, and catering sectors. Agrodiatrofiki Simpraksi Periferias Stereas Elladas is essential in developing VET material for the AGRILEARN project and providing design and implementation feedback. They connect with producers and stakeholders in rural Greece, using their network for effective participation. Their role ensures training materials meet rural community needs, contributing to the project’s practical success.

CYCERE
CYCERE, the Cyprus Centre of Environmental Research and Education, is an independent environmental center in the Akrotiri Peninsula of Cyprus. Its core mission is to promote environmental conservation through education, research, and information dissemination. CYCERE targets a diverse audience, with a strong emphasis on educating young people and students about Cyprus’s natural ecosystems, particularly those in the Cape Peninsula. The center aims to raise awareness about environmental threats and the importance of preservation, offering experiential learning opportunities. Additionally, CYCERE encourages collaboration with researchers and young scientists to advance environmental research in Cyprus.
CYCERE contributes to VET material development and feedback in the AGRILEARN project. They engage rural stakeholders in Cyprus, facilitating educational and training activities. Their responsibility includes hosting educational events and managing project dissemination and exploitation activities. They are key in ensuring effective communication and maximizing the project’s impact in the EU agricultural sector. CYCERE leads Work Package 3 (WP3) Communication, exploitation, and awareness raising, focusing on A3.1: Dissemination and exploitation. Their responsibilities include creating dissemination plans, conducting awareness campaigns, managing content for social media channels and the project website, and coordinating physical events to effectively disseminate project outcomes and raise awareness among the target audience.

Tiny Maenhout
Tiny Maenhout focuses on rural development in the Netherlands, particularly in agriculture, tourism, and recreation. The organization aims to support women entrepreneurs and develop new economic drivers in rural areas. Tiny Maenhout plays a unique role in the AGRILEARN project as an end-user tester of the developed e-platform for VET. Their real-world feedback on usability and effectiveness is crucial in ensuring the platform meets educational needs. Their involvement bridges the gap between development and application, fine-tuning the e-platform for stakeholders and producers in agriculture, aligning with the project’s goals in smart agriculture and climate change.

European Integration and Training Centre ALPHA
ALPHA is a Spanish association that works towards European integration by promoting culture, education, and the arts nationally and across Europe. They offer training, organize events, and conduct research, contributing to the development and assessment of projects related to European integration. The European Integration and Training Centre ALPHA specializes in designing innovative and accessible VET training modules for the smart agriculture sector. Their work in developing relevant training content enhances skills in digital agriculture and climate change, equipping the agricultural community for modern challenges.
